Classic JUUL Pods and Device: Flavors, Strengths and How to Use Them

Short answer: classic JUUL pods fit only the original JUUL device. They come four to a pack, in strengths including 18 mg, 3% and 5%, and in tobacco, menthol, mint and berry flavors. If you own a JUUL 2, you need JUUL 2 pods instead.

Which strength?

• 18 mg (1.8%): lighter, for occasional smokers.
• 3%: a good middle ground for daily smokers.
• 5%: strongest, for heavy smokers. Closest to the original US JUUL.

How to use the original JUUL

1. Charge the device on its USB dock.
2. Click a pod into the top.
3. Inhale gently. The light shows while it fires.

Quick fixes

• Light blinks and no vapor: charge it, then reseat the pod.
• Leaking: keep pods out of heat and do not puff too hard.
• Weak taste: the pod is running out.

Should you upgrade to JUUL 2?

The JUUL 2 has a bigger battery, larger pods and a battery indicator. If you vape daily, it is worth it. The pods are not interchangeable, so switch once you use up your classic pods.
